Business cluster make more and more efforts to become internationally recognised and give visibility to their companies and innovations. Strategic brand building is a key strategy for Nordic cluster – but how does one go from promotion to branding? And how can a cluster develop with its brand as a key asset and starting point?
Tendensor will during 2012 run a series of project that aim to enhance clusters’ possibilities to become successful brand builders – and better at attracting investments, new firms and talents, and promote exports and internationalisation of its firms. Here is an outline of our main projects:
Cluster Brand Audits – during 2012, we carry out a several Cluster Brand Audits, which entails that we analyse the current marketing of a cluster and, based on the result, suggest adjustments and improvements. Contact us if you want to know more about this service.
Nordic Cleantech Clusters - Tendensor has been commissioned by Nordic Innovation – the joint innovation agency of the five Nordic countries – to recommend how Nordic cleantech clusters can be marketed globally. The goal of the study is to contribute to strengthening the Nordic branding in green and sustainable industries and practices. Tendensor maps how different clusters market themselves today, and suggest methods and strategies for how these clusters can be marketed on a global scale in the future.

Cluster Marketing and Branding in the Nordic Countries – Beginning in March 2012, Tendensor will organise a partner financed R&D project focusing on mapping how clusters can work with strategic marketing and brand building. Gathering 11 Nordic cluster organisations and national and regional investment and development agencies, the main aim of the project is to develop a practical handbook on cluster brand management to be used by the project partners.
